Bombardier enhances its commitment to APAC with major Singapore expansion

Bombardier is committed to being your first choice for aircraft maintenance, modifications and spare parts – and this month, I have some big news to share with you!

Bombardier’s footprint in Singapore is slated to nearly double in size with the addition of a new, approximately 250,000-square-foot facility at the Seletar Airport.

The new development will reinforce our global service footprint and further enhance support for Bombardier customers. This expansion will also allow us to grow and diversify our capabilities, providing greater convenience and comprehensive support for our customers.

Construction is expected to begin in the second half of 2026. When complete, the facility will offer scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services, modifications, avionics installations, and 24/7 AOG support. Additional capabilities include component repair and overhaul services, and full-service facilities for customers and crew.

At Bombardier, we are focused on supporting customers close to where they operate, while delivering the exceptional OEM care and attention your aircraft deserves. This new facility represents a major addition to our APAC services network, and we are excited to get shovels in the ground!

The new sustainability-focused facility will add approximately 200 new team members to the Singapore Service Centre, which currently employs approximately 300. We thank key regional collaborators, such as Singapore’s JTC and EDB, for their support.

The new facility is scheduled to begin operations in the second half of 2028; in the meantime, it will be business as usual at Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre.

If you’re in the area, please reach out to General Manager Simon Wayne for more information about Bombardier’s service and support capabilities in Singapore – the region’s largest OEM business aviation service facility.

Once again, thank you for choosing to fly with Bombardier.

Sincerely,

Zeshan Malik
