Committed to Kansas: Introducing Bombardier’s new North American Learning Center

Bombardier has put down solid roots in Wichita, Kansas. This vibrant city is home to more than 1,500 devoted Bombardier employees who power Bombardier Group’s U.S. headquarters, including our world-class Bombardier Flight Test Center, Bombardier Defense, and one of our five U.S. Service Centres.

As part of our commitment to this site, I’m happy to announce a further ~$50 million investment in our Wichita site, part of which includes the opening of Bombardier’s new North American Learning Center – a facility that will prepare newly hired technicians and mechanics for roles across our U.S. service network. And, with a dedicated Bombardier aircraft for hands-on training, they’ll build the skills and confidence to support our customers from day one.

We are proud to call Wichita home. This latest investment in our facilities there will enrich the local talent development pipeline. As a first-of-its-kind facility for Bombardier, the Learning Center underscores our commitment to our people, developing skilled talent, and supporting long-term career growth.

With ten service and manufacturing facilities across the U.S. (including our upcoming service center in Fort Wayne, Indiana), approximately 3,500 employees, and a supplier spend of $2.8 billion across America in 2025, Bombardier continues to invest in the people, infrastructure and capabilities that support its customers.

Wichita remains a crucial part of that footprint, as we expand the site’s capabilities and position for future growth.

Across our service and support network, we’re not sitting still. We’ll keep growing to serve you even better.

Thank you for choosing Bombardier.

Sincerely,

Paul Sislian
