Q1 2026 Pre-owned Market Report finds transactions influenced by aircraft type
The latest edition of Bombardier’s Pre-owned Market Report covers the first quarter of 2026, with data clearly indicating that aircraft type continues to be a major differentiator in market activity.
Overall, transactions increased on a year-over-year basis in Q1. Within that increase, models such as the Global Express and Learjet 45XR showed renewed momentum, while activity levelled off for other types that experienced heavier trading in recent quarters, such as the Global 5000 Vision and Challenger 350. Several models, including the Learjet 75, remained stable.
Inventory levels were also model-driven. The Challenger 605 showed a sharp increase in inventory in Q1 2026, with inventory also up for models such as the Challenger 300 and Learjet 60XR. Interestingly, the number of available Global models tightened, reinforcing supply constraints in the large cabin market.
Data shows that operational usage remained broadly consistent across the Bombardier fleet, with time-on-market following a mixed pattern depending on model.
