New OPSN (Ops Note) communication tool as part of operational information improvement to flight crew

Following discussions at the Global Advisory Flight Ops Sub-Committee (FOSC), described in a prior Full Throttle blog article, a new communication tool was developed to further improve the awareness of new operational data or information to operators and flight crews.  

The new OPSN (Ops Note) tool is now available on the myBombardier site to provide additional operational information, including essential communication with flight crews that is not typically found in FONs or other Operating Manuals. Such OPSNs are found under the Operations section in the Services & Support section of the Bombardier Customer Portal. They are identified by sections like the QRH and sorted by platform of effectivity. 

Like other Bombardier publications, once subscribed to myBombardier, operators and flight crews can get email notifications for any new OPSN published, following simple account setup steps: 

1.Sign in to myBombardier using your Bombardier username and password.

2.Select “Library” on the left-hand menu bar, then select “Proceed to subscription” under the “Notifications” icon. 

3. Fill in the Notification Subscriptions form. 

4. Select the Aircraft Model you want to receive notifications for. 

5. Select OPSN (Ops Note) within the Distribution Type section.

6. Select the Preferred format and click on “Subscribe”.

7. An email confirming the requested subscription parameters will be sent to its originator. 

You are now setup to receive email notifications when a new OPSN is uploaded to myBombardier.
