Nose wheel steering harness connector SB revision

Optional Service Bulletins SB40-32-24, SB45-32-42, SB70-32-09, SB75-32-09 were released on August 29, 2022.  These service bulletins allow operators to replace the straight backshell with a 90° backshell on the nose wheel steering harness, to relieve the bend at the interface with the actuator, reducing the possibility of damage.    

These Service Bulletins were recently revised to clarify harness routing and now include the following: 

  • Ensure rotational position/clocking of new backshell to alleviate sharp bends  

  • Remove existing tie straps that could create sharp bends  

  • Reshape harness to allow a uniform loop from connector to main harness  

Revisions were released on February 10, 2025.
