If your aircraft has an optional life raft installed, Bombardier Customer Support would like to pass along some important information.
Orion Safety Products, manufacturer of the hand-launched Skyblazer II Red XLT Aerial Signal, received a report indicating that an XLT ignited without the safety cap being removed or the ignition cord being pulled. Orion is investigating this recall and product quarantine notice encompasses all XLT products within specified manufacturing dates, as listed in the notice.
Life rafts are considered optional equipment and may have been included with the aircraft fly away kit or purchased by the owner/operator as loose equipment for their operational needs. If equipped, please review the recall notices below to determine if your life raft is affected.
