Bombardier’s Middle Eastern hub taking shape in Abu Dhabi

Construction of Bombardier’s new state-of-the-art service centre at the Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi is advancing rapidly, with the structural framework now rising into the sky.

On track to open during the second half of 2026, this new facility underscores Bombardier’s commitment to expand its global service and support network, delivering exceptional OEM care and support powered by dedicated regional expertise and a global presence.

“Seeing this flagship facility take shape is a powerful symbol of Bombardier’s commitment to delivering world-class maintenance capabilities in the Middle East,” said Paul Sislian, Executive Vice President, Bombardier Aftermarket Services and Strategy.

The Abu Dhabi Service Centre will be an important hub for Bombardier customers across the Middle East. The 120,000 sq. ft. facility will provide a full range of maintenance services to the entire Bombardier family of aircraft, including the newly certified Global 8000.

When it opens, the Abu Dhabi Service Centre will create approximately 100 highly skilled jobs, reinforcing Bombardier’s presence in the region and complementing its existing Dubai Line Maintenance Station.

Along with the new Abu Dhabi facility, Bombardier recently kicked off a major U.S. expansion with plans for a new service centre in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Bombardier’s expanded service footprint is already paying dividends. In 2025, Bombardier ranked number one in AIN’s Product Support Survey for the second consecutive year—followed by another first-place finish in Professional Pilot Magazine’s 2025 Corporate Aircraft Product Support Survey.
